A little care keeps your Lovqa products feeling good and working well for longer. The instructions in the box for each product always come first, and this page brings the essentials together in one place.
Cleaning
- Clean your product before and after every use.
- Wash it with warm water and a mild, unscented soap, then rinse well.
- Dry it with a clean, lint-free cloth before storing it.
- Never use alcohol, solvents, bleach or other harsh cleaners, as they can damage the silicone.
Lubricant
Use a water-based lubricant only. Silicone-based and oil-based lubricants can damage the surface of silicone products. Our Liquid Silk is water-based and works with every Lovqa product.
Water resistance
Each product page shows its water resistance rating. Products rated IPX6 are protected against strong jets of water, so they are easy to rinse clean but should not be submerged. Products rated IPX7 can also be briefly immersed, up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. Make sure any charging port cover or contact is clean and dry before charging.
Charging
- Charge only with the cable supplied, connected to a computer or a standard USB port.
- Do not use a product while it is charging.
- Stop charging and contact us if a product becomes unusually hot, swollen or damaged.
Storage
- Store each product clean and dry, ideally in its box, away from direct sunlight and heat.
- Keep products apart so their surfaces do not touch other materials.
- Keep products out of reach of children.
Using your product safely
- Lovqa products are intended for adults aged 18 and over.
- Take your time, use plenty of lubricant and stop if you feel any pain or discomfort.
- Do not use a product on broken, irritated or inflamed skin.
- If you are pregnant, have a medical condition or are unsure whether a product is right for you, please speak to your GP first.
- Follow the specific instructions supplied with each product, as products are designed for different kinds of use.
Travelling
Our rechargeable products have built-in batteries. Pack them in your hand luggage rather than checked baggage.
Recycling and disposal
Electrical products and their built-in batteries must not go in your household rubbish. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the packaging is a reminder to take them to an electrical recycling point, such as your local household waste recycling centre. If you need help finding one, email hello@willdostudio.co.uk and we will point you in the right direction.
